ABOUT ARON FUND

Built in Erbil since 2024.

Aron Fund builds AI, software and interactive experiences that work in Kurdish, Arabic and English — from an office at Star Tower A26 in Erbil.

WHAT WE DO

Three kinds of work, one language problem.

Almost no technology built elsewhere handles Kurdish properly. Everything here starts from that.

Multilingual AIAssistants and characters that answer in Kurdish, Arabic and English, including how people actually speak.
Software and appsProducts people use daily, built to run in Erbil rather than adapted from somewhere else.
Interactive experiencesHolograms, kiosks and installations that put a system in a room and let people talk to it.
Video and contentFilm and animation produced with AI, in Kurdish, for audiences here.

APPROACH

How the work gets done.

  • 01Built here, not localised laterKurdish is the starting point, not a translation layer added at the end. That changes what the system can understand.
  • 02Shipped, then shownEvery product on this site exists and can be seen working. What is not finished is not on here.
  • 03Close enough to fixThe people who built it are in Erbil. When something needs attention, you talk to them and not to a queue.
FOUNDER

Faraz Behrooz — Founder & CEO

Faraz Behrooz, Founder and CEO of Aron Fund

Faraz Behrooz founded Aron Fund in Erbil in 2024 with a specific purpose: to serve the Kurdish language and move Kurdistan forward in technology.

Kurdish is spoken by millions and supported properly by almost no technology built anywhere else. That gap is not going to close on its own, and it is not going to close from outside. It closes here, or it does not close.

Two years in, the steps have been real — an AI hologram demonstrated to the Prime Minister, video content produced for the Ministry of Education’s learning platform, a super app running in Erbil, and children’s programming approved by the Ministry.

The work continues.

LANGUAGES

Kurdish first. Then Arabic and English.

Every product on this site runs in all three. Interfaces, assistants and content are written in each language rather than passed through a translator at the end.

کوردیBuilt in it first

Central Kurdish, right to left. Everything here starts in Kurdish, so the system understands it rather than translating it.

العربيةAcross the rest of Iraq

Right to left. The same interfaces and the same assistants, written in Arabic.

EnglishFor partners and visitors

Left to right. The version most people from outside the region will read.

This page exists in all three: کوردی · العربية
